Hi Anthony.
Making enquiries in Australia and New Zealand will not get you very far I'm afraid. This work has been ongoing since the early 1980's and unless you have a 'lead', you'd be better analysing the information from those territories others have collated.
Excepting private collectors, I think both Australia and New Zealand can be ruled out.
If I was starting afresh I would look at the countries for which we have had no contact, but as a rule of thumb, I think you can forget about finding anything in the following countries:
Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore, 'Carribean' (the organisation of Carribean Broadcasters), the USA, Iran.
I would also at this stage rule out the southern, central and east African countries as we now have a better understanding of what was screened there and how it was moved between states.
That doesn't leave many countries to be honest. In fact, Venezuela and a robust inventory in Hong Kong would I think provide for a better way to spend your time.
Regards,
Paul

Paul Vanezis was also asked about Taiwan and he provided an answer...

>was Doctor Who ever screened in TAIWAN<
Yes, but not during the period we're talking about. 1965->1974.
I wouldn't look in Taiwan.

Paul

- a robust inventory in Hong Kong
What are we talking about there, i.e. what company and what needs to be done. I just...possibly...maybe...might have relevant contacts in HK.

Well, 'Doctor Who' was sold to Hong Kong Rediffusion. This later became Asia TV which is where the 'Tomb' prints were returned from...

I assume that's the current ATV? OK then there might be a small chance.

Cheers Paul
I will give feedback as and when, it's the kind of topic I would broach over a drink when I am next there which is in Jan. Not a high chance but not a zero chance either.
