Hot on the heels of the (certainly spurious) claims about recoveries of Galaxy 4 and Tenth Planet, we have a pair of claims suddenly being posted on the RT forum about Savages and Celestial Toymaker.
On May 12, 2008, the following text was posted to the RT forum by someone named Jim Ball. The posting was removed in short order.

Dear Dr Who fans, I have read your archives about the so called lost episodes and I find it hard to believe that the "Celestial Toymaker" is even listed as "lost". It is an extremely common tape trade, as I have had it on beta video tape since around 1982-83. The quality is not that great really as it was recorded off TV in Canada. I got it from a friend in Nova Scotia. But everyone has that. Why can't you just get it from some tape traders here? It's a horrible black and white old sci-fi story that is almost laughable. I am watching it with all of the robot puppets. There is no way I can sit through an hour of this, and at the end is also THE SAVAGES by IAN STUART BLACK from from looks like recorded at teh same time in Canada. These are not "LOST" like you say, tons of people have them. Is there upload area, I will just upload them if it's so "lost" and important. Stupid stuff, these have been traded on tapes for over 25 years and you say "lost"... They are not "LOST!"

Then, on May 17, 2008, another posting with a similar claim, which was also soon removed:

Dear Who Restoration Team. I must congratulate your many
years of success in applying the world most top sci-fi
program. And the missing episodes are the most horrible shame and your loss is felt very hard in Asia, but we have some good news soon. We did broadcast your seasons 1 and 2 with our own voice actors, people known well on Japanese TV and they were success. I know after company meeting today that we are allowed to discuss NHK getting both new series from you. Thank you for the new advande DVD with Silence of the Library and Forest of the Dead. Our reviewers watched this morning they have passed broadcast censors, should we resume communications on seasons 3 and this now awarding 4. We have also check archives from Singapore on a previous station and have your missing episodes of Toymaker and Savages of US tapes we leased from Canada PCS. They not aired illegal out of contract only on old media tapes when compared to your archive you say you do not have them. They may have been provided by our NHK fans at previous stations. We have also broadcast Toymaker with Japanese voice over dubbing.
We look positive at having Doctor Who airing in Japan again as the first new two seasons since you began again were very popular. And the review DVD of Silence of the Library and Forest of the Dead full movie is something we want for broadcast now. Thank you in full.

It is curious that both refer to the same stories and mention some Canadian link. However, according to information on the RT website, the only lost story believed to have been sold to Canada was Marco Polo.

At Ian Levine's forum, Moderator Fatso the Wombat notes:
It's just so obviously a hoax, it makes you wonder why they bother...
(Though, the IP address does resolve to Japan; could be a proxy, though.)

The name 'Jisatsu Sakuru' is perhaps some sort of joke or reference to a recent Japanese movie title. Look at the following:

In addition, BS2 exists as the Japanese station NHK-BS2, but may also perhaps refer to 'bullsh*t too'.
